I hold a degree in philology and languages (French and Spanish) from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a BA in English into French and Spanish into French translation from Laval University in Quebec, Canada, and I also studied in professional proofreading, English and mandarin Chinese at Laval University.
Freelance translator since 2007, first between Spanish and French, and then from English into French and Spanish, I obtained a lot of experience in technical, commercial and administrative translation.
I also know the terminology in the education field, as I had the wonderful experience to be French teacher at Alliance Française, Rosario University and Externado University in Colombia.
In addition, I had the chance to work as consecutive interpreter between Spanish and French from social workers, doctors, nurses and nutritionists, which taught me more to use the right words.
In my spare time, I enjoy doing volunteer translation for mobile applications.
