A física, matemática, tecnologia e outras grandes áreas do conhecimento distribuem-se por mais de 11000 m2, ao longo dos quais a ciência se alia à emoção e ao prazer da descoberta. Ateliês, colóquios e outras actividades fazem deste espaço uma casa de ciência para todos. O Tejo, os eléctricos, os desenhos da calçada, o casario, os chafarizes… Consegue explicar a beleza de Lisboa? A beleza talvez não, mas tudo o resto sim. Este é o primeiro de uma série de guias que pretende trazer um olhar científico sobre a cidade.
Translation - English Situated in the Parque das Nações in Lisbon, the Pavilhão do Conhecimento- Ciência Viva is the largest interactive science and technology centre in the country. Thematic exhibitions and hundreds of interactive modules encourage visitors of all ages to explore and experiment in the physical world. Physics, mathematics, technology and other wide areas of knowledge are spread over an area of more than 11000m², where science joins with the emotion and pleasure of discovery. Workshops, conferences and other activities make this place a house of science for everybody. The Tagus River, the trams, the pavement drawings, the casario, the fountains…Is it possible to explain the beauty of Lisbon? The beauty maybe not, but everything else, yes. This is the first in a series of guides that intends to take a scientific look at the city.
