Conference on problems of Quran’s translation

A Two Day International Conference on “Problems of Quran’s Translation in the Subcontinent” organized by International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) concluded at Faisal Masjid Campus of university. National and international scholars agreed on the point that an international institution for Quranic translation should be established which would work in different languages and arrange a network for discussion among the various Islamic scholars.

Saudi Cultural Attaché to Pakistan Hazza Al-Ghamidi was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony while it was presided over by President IIUI Dr Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. Ambassador of Bosnia to Pakistan, Armin Limo, Iranian Deputy Cultural Counsellor to Pakistan, Ali Dosti, Director General of academies of university and deans of various faculties attended the ceremony. Large number of male and female students was also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Hazza Al-Ghamidi said that IIUI was established on the basis of piety and brotherhood and now it is center of attention for whole world.
