Celebrating 20 years in business in 2012, Chin Communications, Australia’s premier specialist Chinese translating and interpreting service, determined to do something different to mark its two decades of pioneering work.

Recognising the importance of training capable translators and interpreters, Chin decided to reward excellence in this industry with a student scholarship.

Budding Mandarin Interpreters studying in the Master Program at Monash University will be eligible for the scholarship awarded each semester over the next 3 years to outstanding students. Monash has launched a conference interpreting Master’s course commencing in 2013 and will train top practitioners in this most demanding of all interpreting – simultaneous conference interpreting.
