PUNE: A 600-page Marathi-German-Russian trilingual dictionary that has a treasure of 6,000 words is ready to be released by the foreign language department of the University of Pune. The project was commissioned to the department by the University Grants Commission and took five years to complete.

Besides translation of the words, the dictionary-which is the first attempt of its kind- will also provide information about their usage and phrases in three languages. The dictionary will be released in March.

The dictionary will benefit students learning Russian and German languages as well as translators, interpreters, technical writers and professionals in the BPO industry. More >>
