Collaborative Translation for Not-for-Profit organizations is a seminar organized, next 14th November 2011, by Red Inmigra at the Universidad Europea de Madrid in the context of Madrid’s Week of Science .

The aim of the Seminar is to introduce the topic of collaborative translation in not-for-profit contexts to a broad audience, and explore aspects such as the use of collaborative platforms, quality control, crowd motivation and professional translators’ role.

It also provides the insights of two practical experiences in creating collaborative platforms, that of Translators without borders and The Rosetta Foundation.

Target audience

The purpose of the Seminar is the dissemination of information among students, professional translators, NGOs and the general public.
