Dear interpreters,
This is Ninon from Oyraa Inc., we develop and operate a human interpretation app.

Today, I am pleased to announce a mid to long-term ON-SITE English-Japanese interpretation opportunity, related to the construction of Pavilions for EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai.
We are planning to hire several people after August, so if you know anyone interested in construction interpretation, please feel free to introduce them to us.

Project Summary:
A foreign company is working with a Japanese construction company to construct and dismantle Type A Pavilions for Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai.


PROJECT DETAILS:

Language: Japanese ⇔ English

Construction timeline: Mid-July 2024 to end of February 2025 (may be extended)
      Event interpreting will be possible during the Expo period (April-September 2025)
      Dismantling: October 2025 to March 2026 (may be extended)
    
Working hours: Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
  ① Office: 9:00-18:00 (9 hours including lunch break)
  ② Construction site: 8:00-18:00 (9 hours including lunch break + 1 hour overtime) 
    Regarding construction site interpreting, there is a possibility of working on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
    - In that case, shifts will be arranged and there is a possibility of a weekday off.
    - Overtime work may be required.

Location:
- Office in Osaka (nearest station: Benten-chô)
- Construction site: Yumeshima (nearest station: Cosmosquare)

Contents: Consecutive interpretation and translation work may also be required.

Fields of work: Construction, architecture, accounting, contracts.

Remuneration: 30,000 JPY per day (monthly income: approx. 600,000 JPY); 1-hour extension = 4,000 JPY.

Description:
  ① Office work: Interpretation for meetings related to ordering and receiving materials and equipment for the construction of Pavilions (type A) of 4 countries, translation of invoices, purchase orders, etc. (no travel to the site).
  ② Construction site work: Construction interpretation directly related to the construction of Pavilions (Type A) of 4 countries.
    
• All transportation expenses to and from work will be covered.
• If you live far away from the office, you are responsible for your own travel and accommodation expenses.
• If you work onsite, please bring your own safety shoes, lunch, and drinks.

SPOT, MEDIUM, and LONG-TERM interpreter jobs for construction sites are AVAILABLE.
There is a possibility of two shifts starting in August, so we may be looking for additional positions.
