Hello everbody! I am very happy that many people have shown interest in this powwow. As the date draws closer I hope that more people will sign up but we'll know for sure in the last days before the meeting.
As you maybe know by now there will be an international Translator's Day on the 28, 29, 30th September and the members of Proz.com are trying to organise as many Powwow as possible during those three days. We will try to connect ourselves with the other powwows taking place on that day

We will try to connect ourselves with the other powwows taking place on that day. The other powwows we can connect to (due to time differences) will take place in Madrid, San Remo, Münster, Giza/Cairo and Aix/ Marseille. I will bring a computer with Internet access and Skype.
The aim of a powwow is to get together and have a nice time but on this special occasion we could try to find a topic to discuss on for a little while. The organisator of the International Powwow Day suggested the first powwow sends a message to the next one, the message has to be translated in all the working languages of the people attending the powwow and the translated message is then sent on to the next Powwow. We could also discuss about the particular aspects of a free-lance translator’s life. Or maybe one of you will have another nice idea.
I am looking forward to meeting you all!
