Picnic in Royal Victoria Park Aug 2, 2006

Bring something to eat and drink plus a little something to share with others. We'll meet under the 5 oak trees near the bandstand from 2.30 p.m. There is Crazy Golf nearby if you don't want to talk shop all afternoon. If the weather is a bit dodgy, we can decamp to the cafe (but I doubt they'll let you eat your own food in there!) Hope to see you.

Arrival time Aug 5, 2006

I've just noticed that a band will be playing in the bandstand from 3 p.m.
I suggest that everyone tries their best to arrive by 2.30. If we find the music is quite loud we may need to find another spot to sit! If you know you will not be able to arrive until later, please say so now. We will find some way of letting you know where we are!

No, Victoria Park Aug 12, 2006

There are 5 oak trees just to the right of the bandstand in Victoria Park if you are standing on Royal Avenue with your back to the Royal Crescent.
Weather forecast is light showers - so come prepared!
