Ritu, a clarification Feb 19, 2006

Ritu, I thought it is the same one we were talking about yesterday. I observe, there is another one slated for the same day where we have all entered. I would suggest, you keep this on hold and wait for Softlingua's clarifications. Depeneding on his reaction, we can meet and take a decision. In fact you can take the lead in this Powvow if required where already entries have been made. Two Powvows the same day in the same city - something unusualCollapse

Information for outstation participants Mar 4, 2006

Dear Friends,
As Naveen has already asked me regarding this matter, I think youth hostel will be a comfortable location for those who don't live in Delhi and want to participate in this meet.
The youth hostel charges are quite reasonable and I feel that the location and facilities are better than those offered by other hotels/ lodges in the same price-range.

Time and Venue Mar 7, 2006

Hi,
I've discussed it with some of you and would appreciate any suggestions regarding this matter.
I had suggested the following possibilities:
1. Crafts Museum
2. Delhi Haat
3. A restaurant (any suggestions?)
These are just some of the suggestions.
Please go over these so that we can finalise a suitable meeting place.
Look forward to your active participation,
Ritu

Please advice if "Delhi Haat" is OK. Mar 8, 2006

Dear Friends

In my opinion, we can have a good time there keeping three things in mind.

1. City Centre
2. Cost Cutting.
3. Nice Ambience
3. Gentle Crowd Around.

Cheers!!!
Deependra

I think "Delhi Haat" is a convenient location. Also, it is better we prepare an agenda for the discussions to make it meaningful. Balasubramaniam has given some valuable suggestions, such as 1) Introduction to CAT tools, 2) Building on brand image, etc. If any of you want to talk about these topics or give presentation, it will be great. What I mean is, if we spell out clearly what we intend discussing, there will be focus and many of our friends may come over. You may like to send a messag... See more

Issues that I'd like to discuss are a bit more basic to translation... maybe there are others who want to discuss similar questions.

Of course, there can be many questions but... these questions are the base that we have to work at before moving on to complex questions.

Rather than giving presentations, I think that we need to actually discuss things, get to know what all of us think... in a democratic (does not mean chaoticicon_wink.gif )way...

What do you think? Or are there other topics that we want to discuss?

Look forward to your participation,

sincerely,

Ritu Bhanot
