Source text - English Fergie predicts riveting finale
Sir Alex Ferguson has predicted a "fantastic run-in" to the Premier League title race after his Manchester United side won 3-0 at Fulham. Ferguson's patched-up team closed to within one point of leaders Arsenal with a comprehensive victory at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
A free-kick from Owen Hargreaves, a Park Ji-Sung header and a Simon Davies own goal sealed the win for United to keep them right behind Arsene Wenger's men.
Arsenal saved defeat against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium with a stoppage-time equaliser by Nicklas Bendtner and Ferguson remarked: "I see it was the 95th minute of their usual seven minutes injury time."
And while the Gunners slipped up, United left Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo on the substitutes' bench until the last 18 minutes and were without injured Nemanja Vidic, Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick, but still outclassed the relegation-threatened hosts.
Ferguson said: "It's been a bit of a see-saw and now it is down to one point but Chelsea are still right on our coat-tails. It looks as if it is going to be a fantastic run-in.
"Fulham played well but were not a threat in the box. The one thing with them was they always kept pushing and pressing the ball. They made a couple of chances, you know."
Translation - Danish Ferguson forventer en fantastisk finale
