Bio

I decided I would become a translator and an interpreter from English, French and German when I was 14, as I desperately wanted to know the meaning of Queen’s hits, though with very funny results that make me smile still today.

I have been working as a freelancer since 2005, becoming a Professor of Interpreting and Translation in 2007 at the same university that I attended as a student, trying to convey the passion that drove me to be a professional and revealing some useful tips and tricks.

Marketing and luxury goods, specifically in the world of fashion, cosmetics, furniture and eyewear, are my key sectors of interest. However, I also translate for the tourism and automotive industry, not to forget human resources, pharma, medical devices and training courses. I can translate press releases, catalogues, websites, product sheets, basically any kind of document in my working fields.

I also provide interpreting services (liaison, consecutive, whispered and simultaneous) during exhibitions, conferences and business meetings: professionalism and confidentiality will always be guaranteed.

I offer language courses for any level and any target, also via Skype, always adapting to my students' needs.

In 2017 I decided to join AITI (the Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters) in order to meet other colleagues and professionals and enjoy training opportunities.

I love travelling and fine dining.
