Source text - English 3.1.1 An Introduction to the blade handle
Insight iS6 is used for medical units to insert the throat when performing anesthesia
operation or in rescuing asphyxia. It is applicable to ordinary tracheal intubation. The
recommended inside diameter of endotracheal tubes are 6.0 - 9.0mm (for type i6-L
blade), ≥ 6.0mm (for type i6-M blade), 4.0 – 6.0mm (for type i6-S blade) and 2.5 –
4.0mm (for type i6-SS blade). This product is a kind of hook type throat endoscope,
consisting of the host, and the blade handle. The blade handle and specifications of iS6
are compatible with Single-use Laryngoscope blades (Model: i6-SS/i6-S/i6-M/i6-L), and the
combination features in secure connection, disassembly convenience, portability, safety
and durability etc.
3.1.2 Working Principles
Press the power button on the host to start up the blade handle. When the matching
blade is inserted into the mouth and presses the tongue of the patient, bright beams of
light will focus on the throat part, making the light in the operation scope uniform and
brighter. The specific site of insertion and the implementation process of the operation
can be observed clearly on the host.
The following Figure 3-1.provide general information regarding the host and blade
handle.

3.1.3 The Main Characteristics and Parameters
The host and the blade handle can be connected easily and when used, the handle
is flexible and the position is fixed.
The length of the telescopic rod of the handle is adjustable and the matching blade
can be changed optionally.
Lighting is centralized and sufficient, focusing on the head and central part of the
matching blade.

Insight iS6 viene utilizzato in unità mediche per l’inserzione nelle vie aeree durante interventi in anestesia o procedure di rianimazione cardiopolmonare. E’ idoneo all’utilizzo per l’intubazione oro-tracheale standard. Le dimensioni raccomandate per il diametro interno dei tubi endotracheali sono 6.0 - 9.0mm (per lame di tipo i6-L), ≥ 6.0mm (per lame di tipo i6-M), 4.0 – 6.0mm (per lame di tipo i6-S) e 2.5 – 4.0mm (per lame di tipo i6-SS). Questo dispositivo è un tipo di endoscopio a uncino per le vie aeree,
ed è composto da un monitor, un’impugnatura e una lama. L’impugnatura e le specifiche del dispositivo iS6 sono compatibili con le lame per laringoscopio monouso (Modelli: i6-SS/i6-S/i6-M/i6-L) ed usate in combinazione presentano le stesse caratteristiche di affidabilità nel collegamento, facilità di smontaggio, maneggevolezza, sicurezza, robustezza, ecc..
3.1.2 Funzionamento
Premere il tasto di accensione sul monitor per accendere l’apparecchio. Quando la lama viene inserita in bocca e fa pressione sulla lingua del paziente, un potente fascio di luce rischiara uniformemente la glottide e tutta l’area d’intervento. Il punto esatto d’inserzione e l’intera procedura operatoria sono chiaramente visibili sul monitor.

3.1.3 Principali caratteristiche e parametri
Monitor e impugnatura si collegano facilmente e, durante l’utilizzo, l’impugnatura è flessibile e il posizionamento è stabile.
La lunghezza del manico telescopico dell’impugnatura è regolabile e la lama corrispondente può essere sostituita all’occorrenza.
L’illuminazione è centralizzata e sufficiente, orientata sull’apice e la parte centrale della lama corrispondente.
