Hallo Dear,

this is Ivy Xiang, a German and English - Chinese translator. I worked as a full-time translator and project manager in a translation company for three years, freelance translator for seven years. I have also translated a published book. As a result, I have the professional qualities that a typical full-time freelance translator would have, but at the same time have abilities that they don't have.

With a large daily work capacity and flexibility, I can handle a large number of documents in a short period of time, and can handle urgent projects. I have translated documents in various fields, such as medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, agricultural machinery, engineering machinery, automotive manufacturing, video games, chemistry, corporate training, corporate websites, fashion and beauty, etc. 

So I have accumulated extensive industry experience and expertise in document localization. I focus on eliminating translationese to make the documents read as if they were written by a Chinese author. My dedication and attention to the details make my translations superior and more authentic compared to other translators.

Furthermore, I own rich experience and excellent Chinese language ability. In the past seven years, I have dealt with manuscripts of more than 120 million words, and have cooperated with many companies, and each of them has cooperated for a long time. Volkswagen GmbH evaluates my translation as "first-class quality".

I am able to use variety of machine translation tools such as Trados, Across, MemoQ,     XTM, Transit, Wordfast, etc.
