I am a highly qualified bilingual translator in Korean and English. As a Korean-Canadian, I was born and raised in Korea before moving to Canada where I developed excellent English language skills through subsequent 10+ years of residence and high education in British Columbia and Ontario, two of the major English-speaking provinces in Canada. After accumulating several years of solid experience as a competent freelance translator for m Korea-based translation agencies, I am now seeking an opportunity to extend my expertise in a global context.
Since 2014, I once volunteered in the Daejeon Catholic Diocese as a translator for the Sixth Asian Youth Day, where about 1,000 participants from all over Asia as well as Pope Francis attended. Also, I also acquired a valuable experience as a press translator by translating the full text of a young adult novel by an American author in DDstone publisher, from English to Korean. More importantly, I have been working with Korea-based translation companies such as kukjetrans. World One Technical Translation, and Best Translation from where I get daily and weekly commissions from a number of major private and public corporations to translate substantial lengths of corporate reports, user manuals, presentation slides, university documents and assignments and many more. |
