Definition:
Ein epileptischer Anfall wird hervorgerufen durch synchronische elektrische Entladungen mehrerer Neuronen des Zentralnervensytems.
Epidemiologie:
Die Prävalenz der Epilepsien beträgt ca. 0,5% bis 1% in der Bevölkerung. Die Häufigkeit einzelner Anfälle ist um ein Vielfaches höher. Bedingt durch die altersgebundenen Epilepsiesyndrome sowie frühkindliche Hirnschäden und Missbildungen ist die Epilepsiehäufigkeit in den ersten beiden Lebendsdekaden relativ hoch. Ab der 6. Dekade kommt es wieder zu einer Zunahme der Epilepsien, diese ist v.a. durch die zunehmende Häufigkeit von Schlaganfällen bedingt.

A waiver in accordance with paragraph 227 Fees and Charges Ordinance would be possible only if the collection of the tax in an individual case would be deemed unfair. This means personal equity must be disclosed and taken into account. This is necessary in establishing if the taxpayer is eligible and worthy of such a waiver.
