Source text - Italian Convegno di Viticoltura Biodinamica: gli apporti scientifici
Sabato 9 Luglio, alla Villa Medicea di Cerreto Guidi (Firenze), abbiamo partecipato al III convegno di Vitivinicoltura Biodinamica Moderna, intitolato “Paradigmi scientifici a confronto”. Presentiamo qui sinteticamente solo alcuni degli interventi.
La biodinamica per il territorio
La giornata è stata aperta dall’intervento di Rita Mulas, organizzatrice dell’evento, la quale ha presentato il progetto “Polo del Carignano”: l’obiettivo è quello di valorizzare un’area della Sardegna (Portoscuso, nel Sulcis), molto degradata dagli insediamenti minerari ormai abbandonati, proprio attraverso la riqualificazione della viticoltura locale, seguendo i principi e le metodologie della biodinamica.
L’intelligenza delle piante
Il Prof. Stefano Mancuso (Univ. di Firenze), direttore del LINV (Laboratorio Internazionale di Neurobiologia Vegetale - www.linv.org) ha proseguito con un appassionante intervento riguardante il comportamento delle piante: esse sono in grado di sentire l’ambiente circostante, di elaborare informazioni, di comunicare tra loro e con gli animali, di prendere decisioni. Le piante sono, inoltre, dotate di socialità.
Tutto questo viene detto non in base a ipotesi fatte da un romantico botanico, ma a seguito di precisi esperimenti scientifici.
L’energia nel vigneto
Leonello Anello, agronomo biodinamico e direttore scientifico del convegno, ha esposto alcuni principi di fondo della viticoltura biodinamica affermando che l’essenza della vita biologica risiede non tanto nella materia, quanto nell’energia veicolata dagli elementi terra-acqua-aria-fuoco.
E’ su questi elementi, presenti naturalmente in vigna (e quindi non sottoponibili alle logiche economiche di mercato) che il metodo biodinamico lavora per migliorare l’energia complessiva del vigneto e dei suoi frutti, fino al vino.
La biodiversità tra i filari
Un apporto molto pratico, oltre che interessante, è stato dato da Enzo Mescalchin, responsabile dell’Unità Sperimentazione Agraria e Agricoltura Sostenibile della Fondazione Edmund Mach (Istituto Agrario S.Michele all’Adige), il quale si è soffermato sulla fertilità del suolo.
Oltre ad una fertilità chimica, esiste anche una fertilità fisica: questa è influenzata negativamente dal compattamento del suolo a causa del passaggio delle macchine agricole. Inoltre si parla anche di una fertilità biologica, data dal grado di biodiversità del suolo. A proposito di quest’ultima, si è dimostrato che la pratica del sovescio migliora la fertilità, il contenuto di sostanza organica, anche fino ad una profondità di 90 cm.
In conclusione: l’esperienza del convegno è stata senz’altro formativa a livello didattico-conoscitivo. Forse, ci si sarebbe aspettato qualcosa di più a livello di confronto/scambio tra visioni diverse o complementari, ma questo è esattamente ciò che si è proposto Leonello Anello per la prossima edizione…

The 3rd Meeting on Modern Biodynamic Viticulture was held in July 2011 at the Villa Medicea di Cerreto Guidi outside Florence in Tuscany. The meeting’s title was “Comparing Different Scientific Approaches.” The topics covered included:
Biodynamic Agriculture and Local Areas: Portoscuro, Sardinia
Rita Mulas, the meeting’s organiser, discussed the “Polo del Carignano” project in the coastal community of Portoscuso, Sardinia. The project is working to rehabilitate degraded and abandoned mining areas by revitalising local Carignan vineyards using biodynamic viticulture.
Plant Intelligence
Professor Stefano Mancuso, director of the International Laboratory on Plant Neurobiology LINV (www.linv.org) at the University of Florence, gave a compelling talk on plant behaviour. He discussed how plants are sensitive to the environment around them, can process and produce information, communicate with other plants and animals, and take decisions. Beyond that, plants have a degree of sociality. He based his observations on precise scientific evidence rather than speculation.
Energy in the Vineyard
Leonello Anello, an agronomist with expertise in biodynamic agriculture and the scientific director of the meeting, put forth some basic principals for biodynamic viticulture. He suggested that biodynamic vineyards are determined not so much by the materials involved but, by the distribution of energy between the elements of soil, water, air, and fire.
These four elements occur naturally in vineyards and are not determined by economic or market factors. Biodynamic viticulture methods work to improve the entire energy flow in the vineyard, which includes these land-water-air-fire elements, the growth of fruit or grapes, and wine production.
Biodiversity Among the Vine Rows
Enzo Mescalchin, director of the Agrarian Experimental and Sustainable Agriculture Unit of the Edmund Mach Foundation within the Agrarian Institute of S. Michele all’Adige (www.iasma.it), made a useful practical presentation on soil fertility.
In addition to the chemical aspect of soil fertility, there is a physical aspect. Physical soil fertility can be negatively affected by the use of heavy machinery, which can cause soil compaction. The biological fertility of the soil, in terms of the biodiversity of the soil’s organic content, is another dimension. The use of cover crops or green manure can improve the biological fertility and organic content of soil up to a depth of 90 cm.
Overall, the 3rd Meeting on Modern Biodynamic Viticulture was useful in terms of the didactic information it offered. Discussion and comparison of different or complimentary scientific approaches, as indicated in the meeting’s title, however, was less than hoped for. Leonello Anello, the scientific director, indicated that debate on different approaches could be better realised in the next meeting.

Il Ministro del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali ha pubblicato, sulla Gazzetta Ufficiale n. 7 dell’11 gennaio 2016, il Decreto 15 dicembre 2015 con il quale definisce i dati contenuti nel modulo per le dimissioni e la risoluzione consensuale del rapporto di lavoro e la loro revoca e gli standard e le regole tecniche per la compilazione del modulo e per la sua trasmissione al datore di lavoro e alla Direzione territoriale del lavoro competente (in attuazione di quanto previsto dall’art. 26, comma 3, del decreto legislativo n. 151 del 2015).
Per la compilazione e l’invio del modulo, attraverso il sito del Ministero del Lavoro (www.lavoro.gov.it) che a sua volta poggia sull’anagrafica delle utenze di ClicLavoro, il lavoratore dovrà essere in possesso del PIN INPS. La richiesta di emissione del PIN deve essere inoltrata all’Inps, accedendo al portalewww.inps.it e attenendosi alla procedura per il rilascio del PIN.
Il possesso dell’utenza ClicLavoro e del PIN I.N.P.S. non sono necessari nel caso in cui la trasmissione del modulo venga eseguita per il tramite di un soggetto abilitato:

2. registrarsi al Ministero del Lavoro, accedendo l’accesso al sito www.cliclavoro.gov.it (sempreché non l’abbia già fatto in passato);
2 – il lavoratore, in autonomia o con l’assistenza di un soggetto abilitato:
1. deve accedere al sito del Ministero del lavoro: www.lavoro.gov.itform on-line per la trasmissione della comunicazione;
2. andare alla pagina dedicata e aprire il form on-line per l’immissione dei dati relativi alla comunicazione di dimissioni o di revoca;
3. inviare il modello.
3 – il modulo di dimissioni/risoluzione consensuale/revoca verrà trasmesso:

4. alla Direzione territoriale del lavoro competente.
La nuova procedura, per effetto dell’art. 26, comma 8, del decreto legislativo n. 151 del 2015, entrerà in vigore il 12 marzo 2016.

In the Official Gazette, No. 7 of 11 January 2016, the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs published the Decree of 15 December 2015which defines the contents of the form used for resignations and dissolution of the employment relationships by mutual assent, as well as their revocation. It also defines the standards and specifications for completing the form and for its transmittal to the employer and the responsible Territorial Labour Office (in implementation of the provisions of Article 26, Paragraph 3of Legislative Decree No. 151 of 2015).
Employees will have to have a PIN code obtained from the National Social Insurance Agency (INPS) in order to complete and submit the form through the website of the Ministry of Labour (www.lavoro.gov.it). The Ministry of Labour's database, in turn, is derived from that of the registered users of ClicLavoro. PIN code requests should be made to INPS by accessing and following the indicated steps on their website at www.inps.it.
You do not need be a registered user of ClickLavoro or be in possession of an INPS PIN code if the form is sent through one of the following entities:
• Workers assistance entities,
• Trade union organisations,
• Bilateral entities,
• Certification Commissions (Art. 76 of Labour Decree Number 276/2003).
Domestic work and resignations or dissolution of employment relationships by mutual assent arranged through conciliatory offices remain outside the scope of the current regulation (Art. 2113 of the Civil Code, Paragraph 4 and the Certification Commission).
Non-compliance with the procedure, as specified by Article 26, of Legislative Decree Number 151/2015 and the Decree of 15 December 2015 will invalidate the effectiveness of the resignation/dissolution of the employment relationship by mutual assent.
The procedure:
1 –an employee, if not assisted by a qualified entity, must:
1. request a PIN Code from INPS by going to their website at www.inps.it (unless they previously requested and obtained one);
2. register with the Ministry of Labour, by going to the website at www.cliclavoro.gov.it (unless they have already done so);
2 –Independently or with the assistance of a qualified entity, the employee:
1. must log on and access the appropriate page link at the Ministry of labour site www.lavoro.gov.it where they can complete the online form used to transmit their communication;
2. once on the appropriate page link, they must open the online form for entering the information to communicate their resignation or revocation;
3. must send the form.
3 – the form for resignation/dissolution of employment by mutual assent/revocation will be sent:
3. to the employer;
4. to the responsible Territorial Labour Office.
The new procedure, instituted by Art. 26, Paragraph 8, of the Legislative Decree No. 151 of 2015, will enter into force on 12 March 2016.

Source text - Italian Lo sviluppo e l’ingrandimento della ghiandola prostatica, e successivamente della IPB, dipende dal potente androgeno DHT. Il testosterone, secreto dai testicoli e dalle ghiandole surrenali, è rapidamente convertito in DHT dalla 5-reduttasi Tipo II soprattutto nella ghiandola prostatica, nel fegato e nella cute dove è legato preferenzialmente ai nuclei delle cellule di quei tessuti.
Una dose singola di 5 mg di finasteride ha provocato una rapida diminuzione della concentrazione sierica di DHT, con l’effetto massimo osservato dopo 8 ore. Mentre i livelli plasmatici della finasteride variano nel corso delle 24 ore, i livelli sierici di DHT durante questo periodo permangono costanti, il che sta a significare che le concentrazioni plasmatiche del farmaco non si correlano direttamente con quelle del DHT. In pazienti con IPB, la somministrazione di finasteride per 4 anni alla dose di 5 mg/die ha mostrato di ridurre le concentrazioni circolanti di DHT di circa il 70%, ed è stata associata ad una riduzione mediana del volume prostatico di circa il 20%. Inoltre, il PSA si è ridotto di circa il 50% rispetto ai valori di base, il che suggerisce una riduzione della crescita delle cellule epiteliali prostatiche. In studi sino a 4 anni, si è avuto il mantenimento della soppressione dei livelli di DHT e della regressione della prostata iperplasica associati alla diminuzione dei livelli del PSA. In questi studi i livelli circolanti di testosterone erano aumentati di circa il 10-20%, rimanendo ancora entro valori fisiologici.
Translation - English The development and enlargement of the prostate gland, and subsequently the onset of BPH, depends on DHT which is a strong androgen. Testosterone, secreted by the testes and adrenal glands, is rapidly converted into DHT by 5-reductase type 2. This conversion occurs particularly in the prostate gland, liver, and skin since 5α-reductase type 2 is preferentially associated with the cell nuclei of tissues in these organs.
In patients with BPH, administration of Finasteride for four years at a dosage of 5 mg per day has been shown to reduce concentrations of circulating DHT by approximately 70%, and was associated with a reduction in median prostate volume by approximately 20%. In addition, PSA was reduced to approximately 50% of baseline values, suggesting a reduction in prostate epithelial cell growth. In studies of up to four years, the suppression of DHT levels and the regression of prostatic hyperplasia associated with decreased levels of PSA were maintained. In these studies, the circulating levels of testosterone had risen by approximately 10 to 20%, while still remaining within the physiological values.
