Source text - English "Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing..."

Experience
Years of experience: 15. Registered at ProZ.com: Feb 2006.
I am a journalist/editor by profession and I presently head up an Integrated Communications Team composed of translators, graphic designers, abstractors, professional journalists, technical and creative writers, continuity writers, transcriptionists, marketing specialists, authors, analysts, psychologists, PR practitioners, broadcast and print editors, and English language professors.
Being a freelancer, my foremost concern is to provide clients fast, qualitative, comprehensive and reliable writing, editing, proofreading and translation services with utmost confidentiality.
Should there be big projects on hand, I see to it that my team puts a high premium on privacy and business discretion. I value confidentiality.
I subscribe to standard translation methodologies which are intended to provide quality output and adopt clear quality control measures to ensure client satisfaction.
I have been in the communications and media industry for 15 years, and my team has a cumulative professional experience of more than 20 years in the fields of journalism, publishing, advertising and corporate communications.
I guarantee that our outputs are comprehensive, well thought-out, straightforward and with fairly prompt turnaround time.
One more thing, though: I respect deadlines.
The rates are defined by the urgency of the job, complexity of the material and how long the pages range. In terms of man hours, I charge a minimum rate of $28/hour.
Translation fee is pegged at $0.06 per word. For per-file fees, standard charges apply.
DVD-Subtitling is at $6.00 per program minute.
For editorial services, I usually charge $6.50 per page for a minimum of 3 days turnaround period—for a 30- to 120-page document containing approximately 400 words per page.
Payments via PayPal and Moneybookers are accepted.
