Bio

Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for languages. English was my first love but I also studied French and self-taught Italian. As I grew up, I focused on English and after years of teaching I decided to move on to translating. I fell in love with the job! I am often fascinated by the challenge a simple word may become.

I specialize in education and travel and tourism but lately, I have worked extensively with legal, medical and business texts.

I have also worked within the field of media, completing several subtitling projects and translating film and TV programme scripts and summaries.

I am committed to high quality translations delivered on time. I translate and proofread whilst maintaining a sympathy for both cultures. I can work in the evenings and at weekends, which allows me to deal with urgent, out-of-hours projects.
