Translation - English To our surprise, from the entrance to the living area to kitchen, it was so full of used postcards that there was almost no space to walk in. There were piles of them all over the place, one bundle here and another bundle there. In the middle of the scene, the owner of the store, along with his wife and children were all busily washing the used postcards with water, using a brush. The washed postcards were placed here and there for getting dried.
The Chief Inspector started the examination of the store owner at once, and other people started searching the entire house. After the interrogation, the store owner deposed that he had sold the stamps to a stamp-stand representative in Yokohama City, as requested by a certain staff of Tôkyô Stock Exchange, Nichô-Machi, Shitaya-Ku. However, although we searched through his house without missing any part, no forged stamp was found.
And yet, as for the postcards, the following practice was taking place: From the piles of used postcards that scrap merchants had collected, the ones that missed the postmark were picked out. Then those postcards were soaked in the water, and the ink color was washed off by lightly tapping them by a brush.
Then, they were dried in a manner as mentioned before, and sold to a certain large inn and other places in Tôkyô for 7 Lin a piece. This "new strategy of old postcards" was a splendid red-handed catch. It was indeed an amazing extra souvenir.

Source text - English We have come together today to join __________________ and __________________ in marriage, an ordinance ordained of God and as old as life itself. Today, the importance and sacred nature of the marriage covenant is not diminished. It is the Lord's intention and desire that men and women be married. In the Bible we read that man is instructed to "cleave unto his wife and they twain shall be one flesh."
Marriage is a contract bwtween husband and wife, and this covenant is an equal agreement binding both parties, and is to be honoured through illness, hard times, anger, joy, and happiness. It is important to remember that both are partners, and there is no room for one party to exercise unrighteous dominion over the other. You should love each other, cherish each other, and respect each others needs, opnions, and desires.
Although selfishness and self interest may be a dominant feature of our modern society, such self interest is an enemy to a successful marriage. It is vital that you both learn to understand the other's needs and feelings, and honour and respect them, which can often mean putting the wishes of your partner ahead of your own. No two people are alike. All have different requirements, different desires, and different opinions. To learn to live together and to understand, respect, and cherish that difference is a God like attribute. This (attribute), tempered with love, understanding, and self sacrifice will give you a successful marriage which brings happiness and peace of mind.
