Source text - English - Be sure to format the SD memory card with this camera before the initial use.
- To prevent valuable data from being accidentally erased from an SD memory card, you can slide the write-protect tab (on the side of the SD memory card) to "LOCK".
- To save, edit, or erase data on an SD memory card, you must unlock the card.
- While formatting the internal memory, do not insert a memory card into the camera. Otherwise, the memory card is formatted instead of the cameras internal memory.
- Formatting is an irreversible action and data cannot be recovered at a later time. Back up your data before formatting.
- An SD memory card having read or write problems may not be properly formatted.
- SD memory cards in the following sizes are supported: 8 MB, 16 MB, 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, 512 MB, and 1 GB. The camera is compatible with SD memory cards manufactured by Panasonic, Toshiba, and Sandisk. Please contact your local dealer for purchasing information.

Source text - English Proper Location for Your LCD Monitor
Consider the following environmental factors when you are deciding where to put your LCD monitor:
- Do not store or use the LCD monitor in locations that are exposed to high heat, direct sunlight, or extreme cold.
- Avoid moving the LCD monitor between locations with extreme temperature differences.
- Do not subject the wide LCD monitor to severe vibration or high impact conditions. Do not place the LCD monitor inside a car trunk.
- Do not store or use the LCD monitor in locations where the LCD monitor would be exposed to high humidity or dusty environment.
- Do not place the LCD monitor in a location where water or other liquids could spill on or into the LCD monitor.
Using the ANT/Cable (Coaxial) Connector
1. Turn off the LCD monitor display and unplug the power cord.
2. Connect the coaxial cable to the ANT/Cable connector of the LCD monitor.
3. Plug in the power cord for the LCD monitor and turn on the LCD monitor.
4. Enter the TV Menu and select TV.
Using the Composite Connector
1. Turn off the LCD monitor and unplug the power cord.
2. Connect your device including the audio cables.
3. Plug in the power cords for the LCD monitor and device and turn them on.
4. Enter the TV Menu and select the AV SIDE (Composite 1).
Using the S-Video Connector
1. Turn off the wide LCD monitor and unplug the power cord.
