EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:
OnTarget21 Translation Solutions (1999-present): freelance translator from English into Spanish (both European and Latin American). I have been involved with translation from 1996, during which time I have translated and proofread a wide range of materials: financial reports, consumer electronics manuals, software license agreements, software and website localisation including commercial games and applications, press releases, computer magazine articles, marketing materials, library management reports, business documents, manufacturing equipment operating and maintenance instructions, fisheries and oceanography/marine related materials, etc. I have also carried out subtitle localisation of documentaries and TV programmes using Subtitle Workshop for a number of international agencies.
Software programmer and programmer-analyst (2004-2013): working full-time as a programmer and programmer-analyst in different software projects in Spain.
