MESA DE TRABAJO 1.
Subtema 1. Actividades preparatorias para el Sistema Regional de Monitoreo Forestal.
1. Desarrollar procesos para evaluar necesidades y prioridades para el sistema de monitoreo forestal (incluye consultoría, reuniones/talleres y entrevistas).
2. Taller con expertos para definir el sistema de clasificación de uso de la tierra y tipos de bosque con sus respectivas definiciones. Previo al taller, un consultor hace una recopilación de los diferentes sistemas de clasificación y definiciones aplicados en los países, en la región y los definidos internacionalmente; a partir de este análisis hace una propuesta que se presenta en el taller.

2. Workshop with experts to define the land use and types of forest classification system with its corresponding definitions. Prior to the workshop, a consultant compiles different classification systems and definitions applied in the countries, the region, and those defined internationally. Starting from this analysis, a proposal is drafted and presented during the workshop.
3. Consultancy to prepare the summaries of data from forest inventories which have already been executed in the region. Request XXX for support to prepare technical specifications and select the ideal professional and support the negotiations to request authorization in the countries.
