I have translated immigration documents to government standards and do a significant amount of consecutive interpretation for day to day tasks for my Spanish- speaking family (including medical/dental). I am a native English speaker with a BS in Education, major- Spanish. My Peruvian-born wife and I speak Spanish at home. My wife proof- reads all translations to extremely high standards of grammar and semantics.
I have worked for 5 years with Mexican (or South or Central American) immigrants in the schools, teaching classes in Spanish and English; occassionally translating or interpreting.
