Source text - English For the remainder of this interview, please use the following definitions when considering mild, moderate, and severe Crohn’s Disease Patients.
Mild:
Patients who are ambulatory, able to tolerate oral alimentation without dehydration, toxicity, abdominal tenderness, painful mass, obstruction, or >10% weight loss). Low inflammatory markers. No fistula and have CDAI score < 150.
Moderate:
Patients who have failed to respond to treatment for mild disease, or with more prominent signs and symptoms such as blood in stools, frequent bowel movement. Impacts daily life. Inflammatory markers are raised and strictures, fistulae/stenosis may be present.
Severe:
Patients with persisting symptoms despite introduction of steroids as outpatients, or patients with high fever, persistent vomiting, evidence of intestinal obstruction or evidence of an abscess. Symptoms severely impact patient’s daily life.

Paziente trattato in ambulatorio, in grado di tollerare l’alimentazione orale senza disidratazione, tossicità, indolenzimento addominale, massa dolorante, episodi di ostruzione intestinale o perdita di peso >10%. Basso livello dei marker infiammatori. Nessuna fistola e punteggio CDAI < 150.
Moderata:
Pazienti che non hanno risposto al trattamento della forma lieve o con sintomi più importanti come feci ematiche, frequente defecazione. Conseguenze sulla vita quotidiana. I marker infiammatori sono aumentati e possono essere presenti occlusioni, fistole/stenosi.
Grave:
Pazienti con sintomi persistenti nonostante l'introduzione di una terapia con steroidi in qualità di pazienti trattati in day-hospital, o pazienti con febbre elevata, vomito persistente, segni di ostruzione intestinale o ascesso. Questa sintomatologia ha gravi conseguenze sulla vita quotidiana del paziente.
