Source text - Turkish Basınç dayanımı 250 kg/m³ çimento, %75 BP ikamesi ve 20 kg/m³ çelik lif içeren numunede referans numunesine göre %38.2 daha yüksek tespit edilmiştir. 300 kg/m³ çimento, %75 BP ve 20 kgm³ çelik lif içeren numunede artış %34 olarak gözlenmiştir. CBP’nin her ikame oranında basınç dayanımı düşmekle birlikte en fazla düşüş %100 CBP ikamesi ile %36.6 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Splitting tensile strength %100 BP ikamesi ile %16 artış gösterirken, %100 CBP ikamesinde %6 düşüş göstermiştir. Çelik lif içeriğinin artmasıyla birlikte basınç dayanımı yaklaşık %15-%26 arası artış göstermiştir.
Dünya genelinde en yaygın kullanılan yapı malzemesi olarak bilinen beton hacminin yaklaşık %70’i iri ve ince agregalardan oluşmaktadır [1-3]. Küresel olarak beton üretimi için yıllık 8-12 milyon ton doğal agrega tüketildiği ve İnşaat endüstrisinde artan taleple birlikte doğal kaynakların tüketilme hızı da arttığı belirtilmiştir [4,5]. İnce agrega, betonun workability, strength, durability gibi özellikleri üzerinde önemli etkisi olan bir malzemedir ve genel olarak beton karışımında çimento içeriğinden çok daha fazla miktarda kullanılması sebebiyle betonun kalitesini belirleyen parametreleri doğrudan etkileyebilmektedir [6,7]. Çeşitli araştırmacılar, mermer tozu [8-10], fly ash [11], copper slag [12-14], granite [15-17] gibi atık malzemelerin, belirli oranlarda veya tamamının ince agrega ile yer değiştirilerek beton üretiminde kullanılabilirliğini inceleyen çalışmalar ortaya koymuşlardır. Bazalt tozu, bazalt ocaklarında kesme işlemi sırasında ortaya çıkan bir yan üründür [18]. Benzer olarak mermer tozu mermer ocaklarında kesme işlemi sırasında ortaya çıkar ve biriktirme havuzlarında marble slurry halinde depolanıp, kurutulduktan ve nemden arındırıldıktan sonra mermer tozu haline gelir [19]. Literatür dahilinde waste clay brick‘in ağırlıklı olarak çimento yerine veya iri agrega olarak kullanılmasını inceleyen çalışmalar yer almaktadır [20,21]. Beton, yüksek basınç dayanımına karşın kesme ve eğilme yüklerinde zayıf bir malzemedir. Gelişen yapı sektörüyle birlikte yüksek binalar, uzun açıklıklı köprüler, nükleer santral bileşenleri etc. Üretiminde betondan istenilen performansın artması sebebiyle betonun zayıf olan özelliklerinin giderilmesine yönelik liflerle hazırlanmış yüksek performanslı betonlara olan ilgi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır [22]. Liflerin amacının, basınç dayanımı, eğilme sonrası çatlama dayanımı sağlaması olduğu bilinmektedir [23].
Translation - English Compressive strength was found 38.2% higher in the sample containing 250 kg/m³ cement, 75% BP substitute and 20 kg/m³ steel fibre compared to the reference sample. An increase of 34% was observed in the sample containing 300 kg/m³ cement, 75% BP and 20 kgm³ steel fibre. Although compressive strength decreased at each CBP substitute ratio, the maximum decrease was 36.6% with 100% CBP substitute. While splitting tensile strength increased by 16% with 100% BP substitute, it decreased by 6% with 100% CBP substitute. With the increase in steel fibre content, compressive strength increased by approximately 15% to 26%.
Nearly 70% of the volume of concrete, which is known as the most commonly used construction material worldwide, consists of coarse and fine aggregates [1-3]. It has been reported that 8 to 12 million tons of natural aggregate is consumed annually for global concrete production, and the consumption rate of natural resources increases with growing demand from construction industry [4,5]. Fine aggregate is a material that has significant influence on characteristics of concrete such as workability, strength, durability, and can directly influence the parameters that determine the quality of concrete because generally, it is used in a much larger amount than cement content in the concrete mixture [6,7]. Various researchers presented studies that examine the usability of waste materials such as marble powder [8-10], fly ash [11], copper slag [12-14], granite [15-17] in concrete production as a partial or full substitute for fine aggregate. Basalt powder is a by-product, which is produced during cutting operations in basalt quarries [18]. Similarly, marble powder emerges during cutting operations in marble quarries and turns into marble powder after being stored in the storage reservoirs as marble slurry, dried and dehumidified [19]. The literature comprises studies that examine the use of waste clay brick primarily as a cement substitute or a coarse aggregate [20,21]. Concrete is a weak material when under shear and bending loads despite its high compressive strength. Due to the increased performance demand from concrete for manufacturing tall buildings, long-span bridges, nuclear power plant components, etc. as the construction industry develops, the interest in high-performance concrete types, which are prepared with fibres for eliminating the weak characteristics of concrete, is growing everyday [22]. It is known that the purpose of fibres is to provide compressive strength and post-bending crack resistance [23].
