Translation - English Word has it that if XXX was just knocking on the door in Belcar at the end of 2008, then in 2009 he rammed right through it, lock, stock, and barrel. We already knew XXX was a beast behind the wheel, but little did we know that he could win races and devour pole positions like cake. Along with YYY, XXX dominated the opening phase of the championship.
The 2009 runner up wants to further establish himself this season, not only from a sporting standpoint, but also beyond that. "It's a dual feeling. On the one hand, you want to do just as well as you did in the previous year; but on the other hand, you know it's going to be damned hard to do. I realise this as a driver, and even more so from the broader perspective of being a team owner. For this reason, the AAA team kept busy in the off season and fitted the cars with additional sensors that will help us pull out all the stops and squeeze every last drop of venom out of our Dodge Vipers. We may not have the fastest car of the pack, but success is definitely achievable. Based on results from last year we can certainly say that the Dodge Viper has potential. The all new Belcar Endurance Championship will be especially interesting. Last year, the Ford was already rather fast. The Audi has been improved. There's also the Porsche. Competition has gotten steeper, and that is a good thing . It only pushes you to be better; because even for me, I think I can drive faster. ”
"Success is addictive, motivating, and boosts your self-confidence. Once you've won races and set pole positions, you want to at least uphold that and improve upon it if you can. A while back I was starting on the fourth or sometimes the third row. Last year, being able to start the race first and set the tempo of the competition was amazing. It makes you thirsty for more."
The AAA team has its work cut out for them with their busy professional activities, driving, etc. It all calls for good planning and a healthy dose of self-discipline. "Good planning is everything, and each year it has got better and better. Before the start of the second stage, part of my work for VTM was already planned, and the summer tour that's coming up promises to be an exceptionally busy time of the year; but those performances are in the evenings, so we'll at least have some time to test and train during the day. Sound physical preparation is crucial. I've been doing some conditioning for a few weeks and am working together with ZZZ. Being as fit as I am already, I can only improve even more. This is vital, since races are getting longer and the level of competition is going through the roof."

Duidelijkheid in verplichtingen

This service includes six, attractively-priced packages for inspecting and/or maintaining escape route signs and emergency lighting systems throughout evacuation routes. All work would be handled by none other than the market leader in emergency lighting systems. This cross-section of services not only keeps what we do for you clear, organized, and comprehensive; it also ensures that your emergency systems are very reliable. Take this as your opportunity, now, to reap the benefits of this unparalleled safety plan.
Your checklist of benefits
* Emergency lighting conforming to all current federal regulations
* No hidden service costs and easy and convenient servicing
* A foolproof, worry-free result at not nearly as much expense
* A service team of well-trained hardware and software professionals
* Professional tweaking and adjustments specific to the area
* Flexible scheduling no further than a phone call away
* Pride in having your maintenance and inspection performed by the market leader in emergency lighting systems
Reliability and ease all in one
Emergency lighting systems require periodic maintenance to function well. While it is true that automatic and
centralized diagnostic tests keep you largely aware of the status of your setup, it does not replace the need
for maintenance work. In addition to reading out test results, you should periodically perform preventive maintenance. Components such as batteries, light sources, and electronics obviously have a limited life-span and are susceptible to environmental influences like temperature. Professional maintenance guarantees that emergency lighting will function properly when it is crucial. Should there be an unexpected power outage, for example, then your employees and visitors will be able to exit the building (guided by emergency lighting) as quickly and safely as possible.
Clear mandates
Emergency lighting is strictly regulated by law. Labor laws require that all employers regularly inspect emergency lighting systems and make it mandatory to repair them upon malfunction. NEN-EN 50172 quality standards, in turn, emphasize the necessity of an insightful and well-maintained
system based on an evacuation plan and log book. The log book contains an inventory of the system and serves as a guide for gathering detailed information about all inspection and maintenance activities. ISSO Publication 79 gives specifics on the manner in which you should perform inspection and maintenance on emergency lighting systems. With XXX Safety Services, you benefit from the knowledge and expertise of a specialist. As a manufacturer, we know all the ins and outs of our products as well as the conditions to which emergency lighting systems should adhere. This expertise saves you both time and money. With Safety Services, you are choosing 100% certainty, continuity, and convenience.

Translation - English Ceres (1998) is a work that dives into Roman mythology by musically portraying the story of Ceres, the goddess of agriculture, and her daughter Kore. In ancient history, their existence explained the constant changing of the seasons. In the opening of the piece, the dramatic guitar solo signifies the earth ripping open, while Pluto (god of the underworld) kidnaps and seduces Kore – the autumn has begun. The sombre melodies resounding from the cello symbolize her mother’s sorrow, as Ceres is utterly distraught by the loss of her daughter. In her distress, she neglects her duty to bless the earth, making it plentiful with fruits. Hence, an arid winter sets in. Ceres, determined to get her daughter back, descends into the underworld in search of Kore. This daunting task is musically manifested in a mysterious-sounding passage speckled with ponticello (sounds played at the bridge of the instrument), campanella (bell tones played in a harp-like fashion), and a series of overtones. The budding of spring, signified by four measures of bitonality in 5/8, serves as the prelude to a theme in C-major. The summer (i.e. the theme in C-major) has its sinister side, as it betokens Kore’s succumbing to Pluto’s trickery and deceit yet again. Her mistake: eating the fruit of a pomegranate that would seal her fate forever. Thus, no matter what, she would always be destined to return to him. Her return, a symbolic cadenza wielded by the bow of the cellist, is a recapitulation of the beginning (the autumn), after which the piece – destined to repeat itself like the turn of the seasons – stills sombrely in the frozenness of winter.

Translation - English The new XXX is a logical step forward from the waste incineration plants that COMPANY Y currently has in operation. These plants are widely acclaimed throughout the globe for their innovative technique, particularly as regards flue gas purification. In fact, this is what propped open the gateway for COMPANY Y to receive a €1.8 million subsidy from Europe for making this innovative aspect of XXX a reality. The process flow is as follows: acquired waste is dumped and jumbled together into a massive waste bunker. Using industrial grapples, the waste is gathered and deposited into four separate chutes, each of which is situated at the beginning of an incineration line. The waste burns on grates at temperatures ranging from 1000 to 1200ºC. The waste incinerates on its own without any added fuels that pose a threat to the environment. Given the intense heat generated from the incineration process, water in the boiler gets converted to steam. This steam powers the turbines, which in turn generates electricity. Pure heat is directly used for district heating, where the heat is distributed throughout the city for residential and commercial use. The residual waste products from incineration get reused as pavement or road surfacing materials, as well as industrial metals and components for the asphalt industry. Purifying the flue gases is the most complicated part of the process. The residue from these gases may not come in contact with the environment. For this reason, the residue is stored in a safe place that is also protected. By reprocessing these residual substances into environmentally safe road salt, the relatively negligible amounts of residue can be more or less reduced by at least another 30%!

Translation - English CHP applications
In order to utilize biomass in cogeneration plants, XXX is building a facility where a fluidized bed will be used to convert biomass into a flammable gas: a product that could serve as fuel for gas engines, gas-powered turbines and, in the future, fuel cells. The fuel gas that is produced will necessarily undergo an intensive purification process to be used for said purpose. Meanwhile, this gasifier will be used, along with limited gas treatment, for burning the fuel in a boiler. This is how YYY engineering company in Romania will produce the first 5-MWth plant. A second is being developed as a chicken manure gasifier, which will be set up in Friesland. The predominant pollutant coming from biomass gasifiers – in other words, from its fuel gas – is tar, which is a byproduct of gasification. Not only does it create a health hazard, it also tends to condensate upon cooling and causes blockages to occur. Nevertheless, the tar has a high heating value, which contributes to the yield upon burning in a boiler. For more advanced applications, such as combined heat and power (CHP), fuel gases must be free of tar resins. So far, the latter aspect has been the major challenge in effectively employing gasification technology. In partnership with plant construction firm ZZZ, however, XXX has now developed AAAA (gas scrubber), a patented gas purification technology designed for removing impregnated tar resins.

Translation - English "The strength of the Dutch market has been gaining, which has especially sparked an increase in sales for the first time in three years. Cost control and the arrival of XXX, however, have also been a contributing factor. It is a feat in and of itself to sustain this upward trend. Thus, we must be conscious of a number of things. When there is market pull, there is more of a shortage in the job market. This triggers increases in salaries. Paying out higher salaries has an enormous effect on our financial performance. Thus, to balance out these pay increases, extra income has to be generated. I cannot emphasize enough that our rates in the market must go up. Plugging in the numbers quickly reveals the kind of effect that a rate increase of a single euro would have. 7000 employees x 1500 hours per annum x 60%, while factoring in pricing x € 1 = more than 6 million Euros!
Isn't that just a bit oversimplified: the rates have to go up? X alone isn't the only thing determining the how high rates should be, is it? There are so many external factors at play. Take competition, for example. That alone could crush you.
"Competition is fierce indeed. It would be much simpler if we were making some simple commodity like matchboxes; but that’s not what we’re about. It’s complex, bundled products and services that we are providing. This means that quality must be a top priority; we must stand out based on that. A good price-to-quality ratio is what it will eventually boil down to. I am convinced that quality always pays off. XXX's arrival has also stimulated positive growth in this respect. Slapping on extra Euros to our hourly rates, however, is something we will have to be able to explain to our customers.""

Translation - English This book highlights the master works of XXX, dating back from the 90’s all the way to present day. Perhaps it is a bit of an odd choice, as one might assume, given her longstanding background in creating ceramics and porcelain works; however, that is not of primary concern. In the 80’s, XXX was actually better known for her plastic arts creations, which often took the form of undersized anthropomorphic beings. It was not until the start of the 1990’s that she drastically shifted from plastic anthropomorphisms and channeled her creative energies more towards abstract works. This decision was an extremely critical turning point in her career. Traces of these changes first began appearing in her works in a series in clay called “Small landscapes”, somewhat of a visual episode manifesting her fascination for geology, landscapes, structures, and love for color contrasts.
