My name is Elisa Meucci, I am a native Italian speaker with 5 years university experience in the field of translation and interpreting. I am a young professional with a master's in interpreting and a bachelor's in linguistic and intercultural mediation. I translate from English, German and Portuguese into Italian.
I collaborate with Birdmen Magazine - a magazine dedicated to cinema, TV series and theatre - providing English-Italian translations of articles and interviews. I have translated and created subtitles for the interview with American philosopher Michael Walzer during the 900fest - Festival of the History of the 20th Century held in Forlì. I worked as consecutive interpreter for the lesson held by Omar Mih, SADR representative in Italy, with the title "The self-determination of Peoples: the case of Western Sahara". I worked as consecutive interpreter and language assistant for the American students of Rutgers - School of Communicationa and Information during their program 'Journalism in Italy' held in Bologna.
