A native English speaker with a love for words and all
things French!

I have a degree in French and Translation, which included a
year living and working in Paris, and a Master’s degree in Translation.

I have two years of freelance translation experience and one
year of in-house experience through internships at the Paris Convention and
Visitors Bureau and RTE International, the French electricity transmission
system operator. I mainly translate business documents such as employee
communications, CSR-related texts and training materials, marketing materials
such as company websites, brochures and press releases, and tourism
texts.

I use my excellent writing skills in English to create a
text that sounds natural, as if originally written in English, in a style that
fits with the text and the brand, especially important for marketing and
tourism texts.

I also have over two years’ experience checking translations
for meaning, consistency, spelling, grammar etc. on a daily basis as a project
manager at a translation company. This gave me a great eye for detail and excellent
research skills as well as extensive experience with texts on plant
protection products, one of the main specialisms of the company.
