Bio

I have a University Degree in Translation and Interpreting and Master studies in Anthropology. I have worked for almost 10 years as a translator, revisor and translation quality assessor for the European Parliament and only recently decided to enter the freelance world. My fields of expertise range from websites, museum content, subtitles, public administration documents to economy, financial markets, budgets, technical (mainly agriculture) and legal affairs. I love my profession and I take my work very seriously in terms of quality and terminological research. I see translation as a creative process that requires a lot of mastery in terms of using the right language register, style and terminology, depending on the field you are working in. Accuracy can be achieved only if the translator keeps her/himself immersed as much as possible both in the source and target languages and cultures that s/he is working with.
