Bank account opening form and terms and conditions
I have read account opening forms of various banks that have been localized in Punjabi or Hindi. Most of them don't have much localization effect. 70 percent of the technical terms are transliterated. In Punjab and other regions of India, people living in towns and rural areas have to seek help from staff for filling the forms and I bet that would still be the case if localized forms are introduced. The main reason is that technical terms are not localized. While proofreading the above mentioned job, I kept the above problem in mind and focused on localizing maximum technical terms rather than just transliterating them.

Translated a Supply Chain management course of a giant pharmaceutical and health care products manufacturer. It was a nice experience translating the content of a firm whose healthcare products are quite popular in India. The challenge was again to make the translation simple for Punjabi speaking employees while maintaining the intellectual level on par with original text.

Project was 4000 words of Mobile app strings that need to be translated into Punjabi.
Challenge was to not only translate the strings but to translate them as they were originally written in Punjabi. Because of my Software background and native Punjabi, doing this project was total fun.
