My name is Talal Baranbo. I have been practicing English/ Arabic translation since the year 2000. During those fourteen years, I have experienced several types of text and produced many translations for publishing houses, PR agencies, legal consultants, and research analysts. I have also provided simultaneous translation at conferences, workshops, and seminars.
In 2006, I passed the sworn translator national test and became an accredited sworn translator (English/ Arabic) by the Ministry of Justice in Syria.
I majored in English Language and Literature and got my B.A. in 2000. I got my Master’s Degree in Translation and Interpretation in 2008.
I have been also acquainted with the day-to-day university teaching as a teacher of English as Second Language since 2000. I started teaching English at Al Faisal International Academy and then Al Imam University in Riyadh, KSA. After coming back to Syria, I started working with the Syrian Virtual University in 2005 and the International University of Science and Technology in 2006 until 2012. Then I came to Istanbul, Turkey and started teaching at IŞIK University in 2013 until present time.
I also have education experience at schools, language centers, and training workshops.
