Bio
I was born and raised trilingual in the Netherlands, attending an English/Dutch school where I began learning German at a very young age. Despite this diverse linguistic environment, I was raised in a Spanish household.
Later, I moved to Madrid, Spain, where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting at the Pontifical University of Comillas, specializing in translations between Spanish, English, Dutch, and German.
I spent two years living in Cologne, Germany, which enhanced my proficiency in the German language. During this time, I worked for a translation firm in Cologne for over a year, gaining substantial experience in translating documents related to IT, marketing, and economics. Upon returning to Madrid, I worked for another translation firm, where I expanded my expertise to include legal translations across various domains such as constitutional, administrative, civil, commercial, and tax law.
Pursuing further education, I completed a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting at the University of La Laguna, with a combination of EN/NL/DE>ES+ES>EN. This program is recognized as the best of its kind in Spain.
For the past four years, I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator.
