English to Spanish: Hospital discharge summary and follow-up report General field: Medical
Source text - English I reviewed Mr XXX in the clinic today. His left eye is comfortable but he does not have any useful vision in that eye. He is presently using no treatment, and I asked him to use ocular lubricants on a regular basis, and he will see his Optician on an annual basis for the examination of his right eye.
***
XXX relates today that the left eye has minimal discomfort now on no treatment. On examination, there was a band keratopathy in the left cornea although the conjunctiva was quiet with nil injection. Hence, we have just recommended lubricants use as required and we will further review him in three months time.
***
XXX relates that his left eye is feeling much better and subsequently we have stopped the Doxycycline treatment. He has been of Betagan for six weeks and his intraocular pressure is normal. We will further review him in four weeks time to check on the pressure in particular and see if any further treatment needs to be reinstituted. If not, we will review him on a more extended basis.

I am a qualified Translator and Interpreter with over 13 years’ experience.
