A neworking event for the Tokyo game localization community

IGDA日本 チャプターの SIG-GLOCALIZATION はこれまで、ローカライズに関連する人々のコミュニティにを生み出し、活性化してきてくれました。私はその流れを、言語に関わる者同士で集うことを通じて推進していきたい、そう考えて企画をスタートしました。

The IGDA日本SIG-Gloc is doing a wonderful job in giving a soul to this community, and we would like to continue this effort by gathering everyone involved with the language side of game localization.

東京地域には、ゲーム開発者、翻訳者、エディター、テスター、プロジェクトマネージャー、ローカリゼーションエンジニアが実に数多く生活しています。そんな土地で暮らす私達が、日にちを決めて同じ部屋に集い、話に花を咲かせたり、コツや武勇伝を語り合ったり、コーヒーとスイーツを楽しめたら楽しいと思いませんか?

Tokyo has a huge population of videogame developers, translators, editors, testers, project managers and localization engineers. For one day, wouldn't it be great to see them under one roof, listening to interesting talks, sharing tips and war stories while enjoying coffee and sweets?

新しいこと、面白いことを見聞きして、たくさん笑って、「Y社のXさん? 去年会ったよ～ いい人だよね」なんて言えるようになれたら素敵だと思いませんか?

Seeing new and interesting things, having some good laughs and simply being able to say "Mr X from company Y? Good guy, I met him last year"
