I was also a bit dubious ... I think it was the final sentence that set me thinking ...
No mention of a website under construction, but I haven't been able to find one at all. The member's page shows the date of joining as 2012; they became a paying member in the final months of 2014. No BB entries, though there are records of two jobs posted last month. The second one is English>German, so perhaps that accounts for the final sentence ... could it simply be a symptom of Copy-'n-Paste-'n Do-Not-Engage-Brain Syndrome ...?
Happy Monday, everyone! ▲ Collapse

The point of many such scams is to obtain a translation without paying for it, then selling it.
If such a 'client' decides not to pay, then what will you do? We don't know if a company of that name even exists. It has no web site. There is no company registration number that can be looked up. There is not one single Blue Board entry. The Blue Board is in the name of an individual, not the company. If that individual turns out to be a scammer who gets a low LWA, he or she can just delete the profile and create a new one and thus erase any trace of bad behaviour.

In addition to the very salient points made by Thomas Frost, if you send your CV in response to a request from someone who turns out to be a scammer, then you're providing them with the chance to masquerade as you ... to say nothing of handing over your reputation to be shredded by their antics ... | | | Pages in topic: < [1 2] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Is this another scam?
