| Definition / notes: | Grey blending involves the use of demi-permanent color to diminish the contrast between the grey in clients's hair with their natural hair color. The goal of this service is to use the grey to add dimension to hair. The effect of grey blending can be dramatic if there is a substantial amount of grey present in the hair and the color selected is very different in tone from the client's natural hair color. Because demi-permanent color doesn't penetrate the hairshaft, there won't be a line of demarcation as the client's hair grows out. The color will appear to fade away after four to six weeks. |
