Uric Acid Even though 'uricemia' appears in many English-language documents, I think many of the ones we find online are translated from other languages, such as Italian and Spanish, where the word 'uricemia' is commonly used in laboratory test reports. I would use 'Uric Acid' in an English translation of a laboratory report ... this is what it means, and it's the standard widely used term for this laboratory measurement.
