"channel girders"; also "tubular girders" or "box girders"

As in, "Channel girders are used in the construction of bridges or highway overpasses."

As used here, the word "artesas" is related to "artesa" ("chute, tray, or box [such as the long boxes in which mortar is mixed]") and "arteson" ("caisson, coffer, tub, or U-shaped trough"). It has nothing to do with "artesano/na" ("skilled worker, artisan, or mechanic") or "artesiano/na" ("artesian"). -- Hope this helps!

artisan beams

Exposed beams.

This is refering to metal construction where the floor plating is stiffened by beams welded on one side to strengthen the steel plate without a great increase in weight.

Good luck.
