Comes in a document about topography. When I asked the client what this was, he sent an explanation "2 fotos que se solapan. Es decir, tienen una zona cada una, que es la misma imagen tomada, para las dos."

I'd say simply "photogram pair"
In the sense you give, "se solapan", they are not necessarily completely superimposed. The "techo" (ceiling) part for me is more problematic, because is this a projection FROM the ceiling, an image projected ONTO the ceiling, or two big blow-ups to be mounted on the ceiling? All these are possible.
