Comment: "I think this captures the spirit of the word. The job had documents in Italian and Spanish. It used a homophone in Italian "bacchetteo", but in one document, in answer to a query about this word (which I was unable to document in any Italian reference), another word was given, "battuta", so I used "banging". By the way, the Spanish in the job was Argentine. (Can't stand the word "Argentinean"!)"
