As in previous question. "Squalid" is better for a house than "sordid", which is more a moral term.

: I feel like I live in one, actually! My building is 5 years old, and is already falling apart at the seams! Luckily I'm moving in August.

Good luck with the move. I reckon some of the new builds standing empty round my way will probably reach the squalid stage before anybody ever moves in. I've heard a few horror stories. Thanks :)
