I have a couple of good friends, one male and one female, you can talk about your business to.

I hope this is OK. Good luck.

There are two ways to translate this question...

The first is literal: "Do you have a good male friend or a female friend to you who can tell your things?"

And the second is based on the meaning of the Spanish sentence, but expressed in colloquial English, the way the question would be asked by a native English speaker: "Do you have a good friend you can talk to (about personal matters)?"

Hope these examples offer you a little insight into how a translator's mind works!
