Spanish term
Foco contusivo
Spanish to English
Medical
Medical (general)
This is taken from a Spanish medical report on a patient who had a fall and then suffered damaged ribs, lungs and spine.
This section is titled Tac de Tórax. The full paragraph is as follows:
'Opacidades de bajas densidad en pulmón derecho que parecen atelectasias subsegmentarias, aunque no puede descartarse que alguna corresponda a foco contusivo'
Low density opacities in the right lung which appear to be subsegmentary atelectases although the possibility that one of them corresponds to/is ___________ cannot be ruled out.
I think the missing phrase is related to contusions. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
