Nov 8, 2010 04:12: Jennifer Strachan changed "Edited KOG entry" from "<a href="/profile/79421">Jennifer Strachan's</a> old entry - "Resto interrogado y negado"" to ""Patient responded negatively (or simply \"answered \'\'no\'\") to remaining questions.""
Non-PRO (1): Alvaro Aliaga
When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.
Proposed translations
Patient responded negatively to remainder of questions.

To me, the word "negado" clearly suggests that there were "negative" responses to "yes/no" questions regarding problematic conditions/operations/circumstances in the person's medical history. This is different from an assertion that a patient's history is "unremarkable," or that "there are no red flags."
Rest of history taking/questioning was unremarkable
Maybe "questioning" should be specifically included.

"nothing of note" is another alternative.
e.g., rest of questions revealed nothing of note
No red flags
patient outcome.
Term has been establish as a "common term" mostly in student clinical levels, so you can differentiate (who is not an student any more... :)
There is no logic to state that you did your full work... Old medicine heritage...
Other symptoms and sign denied may sound ok, but what will be the use to let clinicians know that, besides the CH content??
Just an opinion.

OPINION!! RED FLAGS meaning (again). Are key symptoms and signs that alert the clinician to the possibility of serious disease. To elicit them early is of vital importance to a satisfactory patient outcome.

: This isn't right. This isn't even wrong. // Sorry, thought I was talking to someone else. I should have said: This is too informal for the context.
