Hi Olaf!, I just wanted to warn you that, if this is an Argentinean text or of similar origin, the "etapa de instrucción" can refer to: "Pena de reclusión o prisión." Meaning the time that person has/will spent/spend in jail.

: It's Peruvian, but if it were Mexican it would be the "evidence stage" of a trial which is not the same either so apparently this term is a very tricky one depending on the country it come from! It's good information to know.
