Estoy traduciendo un documento por el que se concede libertad a un preso y aparece esta frase:
Para que así conste, expido el presente certificado a efectos de libertad.
Me plantea dificultades la transmisión de esta última parte.
Agradecería mucho sus sugerencias.

: Yes, but "for the purpose of" is longwinded, and you need to add "his/her". How about simply "for his release"?
