Spanish term

Se adjuntan Registro Mercantil de XXX

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Private Detective\'s Report
Private Detective's Report (Spain)

This seems to imply that the whole Business Registry for this company is attached but that just an extract from the Land Registry for another company is attached. (They are two separate companies).

Is this the correct interpretation of this?

Thanks in advance.

"Se adjuntan Registro Mercantil de XXX y Nota del Registro de la Propiedad de YYY".

Find enclosed [the] Commercial Registration of XXX

Or words to that effect. Its not the registry, it's the registration or record of registration in the registry.

agree philgoddard : "Find enclosed" sounds a bit odd though. "We enclose" would be better.

Thanks, Phil. Yes, in the absence of context, I was going for a neutral wording here.

Spanish term (edited): Se adjuntan Registro Mercantil de XXX y Nota del Registro de la Propiedad de YYY

Enclosed are a Trade Registry (company) search for x & Office Copy Entries of a Land Search for y

Registro Mercantil > likely to be shorthand for an 'extracto' (interesado).

Nota - probably short for nota simple informativa.

I, as a City of London law clerk, used to 'bespeak' (interesar) copies of both a co. and office copies of a land search. But no doubt I am 'imagining' things.

BTW, whether it is 'pls. find enclosed, attached or exhibited hereto' is really a trivial point.

Some may find the conventions of written formal English "needlessly wordy", whereas others are content not to rock the boat. I know which camp I fall into....
