I would leave off the "al concepto" as it doesn't seem to add anything to the meaning, maybe you could say "for the purposes of this upgrade/project/venture/undertaking" for "al concepto", but I don't see any real relevance. So, I would say "Optional nodes, including any auxiliary nodes, as defined by ..."
