I've looked at a number of glossaries, including this one

and I can't find a definition for "internal network" but all of the defs for "intranet" say that it is an "internal network". The def at this link says:
"A private network that uses Internet-related technologies to provide services within an organization."
If possible, could you give me a source that will distinguish the two? Thanks very much!
